What is a Non-Profit?

A non-profit organization is designed to help those in need, and give back to the community. As stated in the article there are different types of non-profits. Such as 501(c). 501(c)(2), 501(c)(3), the numbers, and numbers are different because every non-profit has a different focus. However, a non-profit is focuses on a positive social change, and it benefits the public interest.



4 Characteristics of non-profit organization

Clear Mission Statement
A clear mission statement helps individuals understand the purpose of the non-profit organization. The mission statement should be short and sweet. It should also address what it wants, and the plan they have to help reach their goals.
Strong Communicators 
It is important that everyone in the organization communicates with one another. Communication is key in a workplace. It assures that the organization operates effectively.
Greater flexibility 
A greater flexibility can help the employees accomplish the organization's goals.
Qualified staff members 
Having qualified staff members helps the organization operate smoothly. Also, having qualified staff members may help the organization grow, and exceed their goals.

Question: I did not have any questions about the articles. However, I do want to learn about the steps you have to take to create your own organization.
